The eastern half of Kensington climbs the ridge toward Tilden Regional Park, on narrow winding streets with custom houses set among mature trees, from early cottages to mid-century and newer builds. The Arlington is the village center with a market and a handful of shops, and the ridgeline trails and eucalyptus groves sit just behind.
